Congratulations to our CEO Josh Illsley who is nominated for “Business Leader of the Year!”

We are incredibly proud to announce that our CEO, Josh Illsley, is a Finalist for Business Leader of the Year in The Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards 2023, in Partnership with The University of Lincoln Research and Enterprise!

The Evening itself will take place on Friday 26th May at The Engine Shed. When Josh was asked how he felt about being a Finalist for the award, he stated, “It is an honour to be recognised and be a finalist for such a prestigious event, I am very grateful for this recognition and look forward to being around those who have achieved great things on the night.”

During the Global Pandemic in particular, Josh’s grit and determination in figuring new strategies to bring in the income at a time when mass participation events were paused demonstrated the right attributes for him to be promoted to CEO in 2021.

We can each resonate with how challenging the unprecedented circumstances were over the past few years. With thanks to Josh, who led a “virtual runs” initiative, and adapted to a total business restructure for Running Imp,  meant the family business, founded in 1988, was able to survive and continues to thrive today.
